I have greatly neglected my
duties in this journal over the past few weeks, but let me try to recap a little. On
Friday, 22 January, the school group took a trip to Siena and San Gimignano. We had
to be at the train station at 7:45am. On the way out of the hotel at 7:15am, the
breakfast lady, Giovanna, stopped us and insisted that we let her pack us a breakfast.
So we brought the big bag of rolls and two cartons of orange juice and had a quick
snack at the train station. It was so nice, that we all pitched in and bought a
salami for her in San Gimignano. |
